NIJ STUDENTS LAMENT OVER EXAMINATION DATE

  By Aigbadumah Isaac  Following an announcement which was made on Monday 24 January, 2022 as regards the commencement of the first semester examinations, feelings of distress have rocked the four walls of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos, as students have made complaints to some members of faculty. The announcement about the exams which would begin on Monday 21 February, 2022 was disseminated by the class governors of the various programmes of the institution, through the management, and has received negative reactions from some students and members of staff. NCDC - 75 new Covid 19 cases

By Abdulrasaq kehinde Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 75 additional lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The NCDC announced on Saturday morning, through its verified website, that with the new statistics, the country's caseload reached 252,912 on Friday, and the death toll remained at 3,134 since the pandemic began. In addition, the country had 228 recoveries within the same time period, according to the agency. According to daily planet, 228,632 Nigerians have been successfully treated and released across the country. The following is a breakdown of the current COVID-19 data by state: Lagos-22, FCT-13, Rivers-8, Oyo-7, Yobe-7, Osun-6, Delta-3, Kaduna-3, Nasarawa-2, and Kano-1, according to the NCDC.

According to an online medium, Neusroom, the 37 year old Nigerian social media influencer will know his fate come February 14, Valentine's Day, after almost spending two years in detention in Dubai.   Hushpuppi  was arrested in the United Arab Emirates in June last year after local police raided his Dubai apartment. Father impregnates 14 year old daughter

Infantino gave the clarification at an 'extraordinary' session of the Council of Europe - a trans-national body dedicated to the support of human rights. He explained the countries outside Europe needed greater access to national football competitions to prevent drastic consequences. “If we think about rest of world, and the vast majority of Europe, then we have to think about what football brings.
